Account Information: Name, email address, and profile photo via Google Sign-In.
Health Data: Lab results, medical documents, and health records you upload to the platform.
Wearable Data: Activity, heart rate, sleep, and other health metrics from Google Health Connect, with your explicit permission.
Usage Data: How you interact with the platform, including AI chat conversations about your health data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide AI-powered analysis of your health data.
Enable conversations with your AI health advisor using your personal health context.
Display trends and insights from your lab results and wearable data.
Facilitate care team coordination when you invite providers.
Improve and maintain our services.

4. Google User Data

HealthV accesses Google user data (profile information and Google Health Connect data) solely to provide the health analysis services described in this policy. We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firebase infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Firebase Authentication for secure access control.
Firestore security rules that restrict data access to authenticated data owners.
Server-side AI processing — API keys are never exposed to the client.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share your data only:

With care team members you explicitly invite and authorize.
With AI services (Google Gemini) for health analysis — your data is processed per Google's data processing terms and is not used to train AI models.
As required by law or to protect rights and safety.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access all data stored in your account.
Delete your account and all associated data at any time.
Revoke access to Google Health Connect data through your Google account settings.
Control which care team members can view your data.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete all associated data within 30 days. Backups may persist for up to 90 days before automatic deletion.

9. Children's Privacy

HealthV is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HealthV.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

HealthV provides an AI-powered health data platform that allows users to upload medical documents, connect wearable data, receive AI-generated health insights, and coordinate with their care team. The platform is available via web at app.healthv.ai.

HealthV is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All AI-generated analysis and insights are for informational and educational purposes only. You should always consult with qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking treatment based on information provided by HealthV.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your Google account used to sign in.
All activity that occurs under your account.
The accuracy of health documents you upload.
Managing care team access permissions appropriately.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload documents belonging to other individuals without their consent.
Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.
Use the platform to generate misleading medical claims.

6. Intellectual Property

The HealthV platform, including its design, features, and content (excluding your personal health data), is owned by HealthV LLC. Your health data remains your property at all times.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HealthV LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. HealthV is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HealthV LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
